Traditionally, grants are awarded once per year, with the application process beginning in the fall and final grant applications being accepted at a determined date. Funds are distributed in February. Any non-profit agency that has not received funding from the Foundation in the last three years must first submit a Letter of Intent to be reviewed before a full proposal will be accepted. The Foundation will be accepting Letters of Intent in June and July this cycle.

The Two Rivers Health & Wellness Foundation focuses its grant making efforts on improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of Northampton County by providing funding to the organizations that serve them. Since the Foundation was established in October 2001, over $8 million has been distributed to more than 60 supported organizations.
